My engineering background covers a wide range of programming languages including Rust, Golang, Java, Zig, Ruby, PHP, and Python. I have worked extensively building frontends and full-stack solutions using React, Angular, Vue, Preact, Svelte, Laravel, and Django.
Technical Leadership as a Vetted Senior Engineer
As a Senior Software Engineer with a selective, technical-screen freelance talent network, I focus on creating software tools, MVPs, and prototypes for diverse global clients. I provide technical leadership by managing engineering teams ranging from 20 to 50 members, driving strategic planning for technical departments, defining KPIs and OKRs, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure project success.
Applied AI Engineering
A major focus of my current work involves advanced AI engineering. I have hands-on experience operating AI coding harnesses and platforms like OpenAI Codex, Grokbot, Hermes, Clawdbot, Google Antigravity in CLI, Pi, Claude Code, Deepseek Cloud, and Opencode. I work with the latest artificial intelligence models, which I also deploy and test locally in my personal DGX Spark lab environment. My applied AI expertise includes model distillation, implementing Vector Databases for RAG architectures, and leading initiatives for the responsible use of AI.
Infrastructure & Integrations
I continuously design and improve infrastructure deployments across multiple cloud providers and hosting environments, including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, DigitalOcean VPS, Vercel, and Netlify. Alongside cloud architecture, I have built complex connectors featuring WebGL, GraphQL, RESTful and WSDL APIs, sound streaming, and live databases.
Security & Compliance
I lead security and compliance assessments for organizations globally. I implement and maintain rigorous security standards to fortify software architectures, including NIST 800-53 Rev 5, OWASP ASVS 5.0, 1EdTech LTI 1.3, GDPR/UK GDPR, LGPD, PIPL, and the DPDP Act. To be precise about what that means: this is an engineer-led assessment against these standards, not a certified audit. How I Work
I work remotely from Baja California Sur, Mexico (MST/CST), one retainer or fixed-scope engagement at a time — I don’t spread thin across parallel clients. Messages get a reply within one business day. A few things I deliberately don’t do, so scope is clear from the first call: black-box penetration testing, accredited compliance audits, native iOS/Android development, and 24/7 operations coverage.
