AI-First

AI-First Architecture & Agentic Workflows

Modern platforms are no longer single request-response systems; they are orchestrations of models, tools, and autonomous agents. I design agentic workflows with clear guardrails — deterministic boundaries around non-deterministic components — so AI augments the product without compromising it. This includes production-level AWS Bedrock deployments and LLM RAG pipelines that ground model output in trusted, access-controlled data, keeping every model interaction observable, auditable, and secure.

Edge

Edge Computing & “Backendless” Integrations

Latency is a design decision. Drawing on 15 years of AWS experience across EC2, S3, ECS, and RDS, and 10 years of DevOps practice, I architect high-availability, cloud-native pipelines that push logic toward the edge and lean on managed, “backendless” integrations where they reduce operational drag. The result is infrastructure that stays resilient and inexpensive under real-world load — not just on a whiteboard.

Performance

Server-Level Performance & “Burst” Scalability

5 years of deep PHP optimization and full-stack engineering taught me that perceived speed is engineered at the server tier long before it reaches the browser. I build architectures that hold a lightning-fast Interaction to Next Paint (INP) even under sudden burst traffic — through disciplined caching, query and payload optimization, and elastic scaling that absorbs spikes instead of buckling under them.

Security

Security & Compliance by Design

Security has never been a final-quarter bolt-on in my work. I treat secure data handling, regulatory compliance, and attack-surface reduction as day-one architectural constraints — with particular rigor around AI integrations, where prompt boundaries, data isolation, and least-privilege access prevent today’s models from becoming tomorrow’s liabilities. Invisible

“Invisible Architecture” & Tactile UI

The best architecture disappears. I favor raw, precise, zero-bloat digital spaces over generic, framework-default layouts — interfaces that feel tactile and intentional, and that are carbon-aware by shipping less code, fewer bytes, and less wasted compute. Great systems shouldn’t just perform; they should feel deliberate to use and leave a smaller footprint behind.

I engineer autonomous AI systems that dissolve real-world bottlenecks rather than demo well. That includes building tools to automate complex institutional data-gathering pipelines — turning slow, manual research and aggregation into reliable, hands-off processes — and deploying enterprise-grade architectures on AWS Bedrock with custom RAG layers that keep model output grounded in verified, access-controlled sources. The deliverable is always the same: less human toil, faster cycles, and decisions backed by trustworthy data.

I design interfaces that strip away bloat without stripping away character. The goal is a hyper-customized, carbon-aware digital presence — one that ships fewer bytes and less wasted compute while still feeling tactile and precise. These designs are built to scale across complex, multi-tenant whitelabel networks, holding their aesthetic integrity and performance budget across dozens of branded instances rather than degrading as the system grows.

Edge Deployment

I push computation and rendering as close to the user as possible to achieve near-zero-latency interactions. By distributing workloads across the edge instead of funneling everything through a central origin, the systems I build stay resilient and globally consistent — fast for a user in San José del Cabo or Singapore alike, and resistant to the single points of failure that take centralized stacks offline.

Technical leadership, for me, is about practical alignment between engineering output and business strategy. I modernize team workflows, run rigorous technical feedback sessions that raise the floor on code quality, and manage multi-tiered project hour allocations so effort maps cleanly to priorities and budgets. The result is teams that ship faster, with less rework, and stakeholders who can see how developer hours translate into business value.
